V2T is a Nuance mobility platform service which enables conversion of Voicemail To Text from various telecom carries. Around 3 billion voice messages of 60 million users worldwide used this system annually.
The system receives the audio message, passes through multiple automated components and creates a response that contains the converted message text.
Additionally agent transcripters and reviewers manually checks the converted text for 100% accuracy using windows based tools.
Position summary :
As Principal Software Engineer in V2T platform services team, you will be responsible for ongoing software development and testing of Nuance’s Voicemail to Text Conversion platform and will work on multiple deliverables with dynamic schedules.
You will work closely with a talented pool of developers, speech / linguistic researchers, professional services and other cross-functional team members to continue improving our voice recognition platform and be part of several critical innovations like enabling support for public cloud deployments, adding containerization and auto-scaling capabilities etc.
You will play an integral role in ensuring high quality of service by actively contributing to our QA functions which include developing test plans, automated test suites and executing such tests, build and maintain Continuous Integration / Delivery pipelines and provide on-call support for production issues.
