Senior Design Verification Engineer

The Precision Converter Technology group develops leading edge precision analog front end solutions for instrumentation, industrial, Automtive, Healthcare,

Communications and Consumer applications. The group is seeking a Senior Verification Engineer to work in high performance ADC / DAC products.

The candidate must have a proven track record of verifying complex mixed / digital signals ICs. The successful candidate should be self-motivated and able to work effectively within the team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Verification of complex designs and subsystems using the most leading edge methodologies.
  • Influence the decisions on methodologies to be adopted for the verification.
  • Technically mentor and guide junior verification engineers on the Verification.
  • Architect the testbench and develop in UVM and Formal based verification approaches. Integrate the block testbench at chip-level UVM environment and verify integration.
  • Define test-plan, and verification methodology for block / subsystem verification. Work with design team in generating test-plans and closure of code and functional coverage.
  • Interact with the cross functional teams to achieve the verification goals.
  • Support post-silicon verification activities of the products working with design, product evaluation.
  • Proficient in scripting languages like Perl / TCL / Python etc.
  • Qualifications :

  • BTech / MTech degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer science from reputed institutes
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in design verification with UVM and constrained random, coverage based verification
  • Excellent debugging and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Assertion based formal verification will be a plus
  • Good verbal, written communication skills, and ability to work in large teams.
  • Additional skills :

  • Flexible to work with different geometries
  • Scripting Languages
  • For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.

    S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and / or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
