MaxLinear is seeking a WiFi QA Automation Engineers to join our growing team. We build the Automation and QA test infrastructure that enhances individual productivity and is used by all teams within the WiFi organization.
We are looking for highly motivated engineers who will work to expand and improve this infrastructure, thus driving the success of the whole organization.

Qualifications
Significant Experience in Automation framework development using python
Experience working with source code control tools (git).
Ability to write tools to install software on a Linux / windows system, configure services.
Strong systems-level experience and very good QA experience in Wi-Fi test and validation
Experience with various test tools like traffic generators such as chariot, iperf, Veriwave, Spirent, protocol analyzers such as Wireshark, tcpdump, Ethereal , automation front ends, test results management, Test Quality Centre (QC).
Strong Knowledge of 802.11b / g / n / a / ac / ax / 6GHz standards, including WPA2 / 3 security protocols
Eager to learn new technologies and approaches and be part of a very progressive test team, Team player that can also work as an individual contributor, High level of self-motivation
Bachelors (or advanced degree) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Computer Science with minimum 4 years of relevant experience
3 to 6 years of experience in automation using Python in creating Automation test suites
