Aspiring Minds is currently hiring for the position Sr. Manager- Content Development. The content development team is responsible for creating items for various assessments and conducting timely validation and reliability checks on these items.
For this profile, we are looking for individuals with high aptitude and attention to detail with project management skills and acumen.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Test Design and Development
Test Design and Development :
Understand business requirements and communicate it in detail to the team, guide them with primary and secondary research and help in finding various valid sources of research / information for question development.
Guide the team to develop a comprehensive test blueprint.
Critically review the test items developed by the team members in adherence to the global assessment guidelines and suggest improvement areas.
Intervene at different stages of question development to ensure that quality test items are being developed in the given time-frame.
Work on content analytics and study the quality of test items based on candidate endorsement data.
Along with team projects, work as an individual contributor to develop the product map / test items for state-of-the-art assessment products like Situation Judgement Tests, Simulation based assessments etc.
Project Management :
Translate business needs into operational requirements and manage resources to meet timelines for various projects.
Accompany the business teams for client visits / attend client calls to understand project requirements or discuss client feedback on a project.
Associate and engage with Subject Matter Experts / Industry experts to support the content developers to finalize the curriculum / test items for different tests.
Manage the assessment module delivery end-to-end - starting from question development till final module testing.
Anticipate bottlenecks that can affect the project timelines and take proactive measures to handle those issues.
Multitask to deliver multiple projects in a given time frame.
Team Management :
Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
Set clear team goals and deadlines. Help the team in achieving these timelines.
Monitor team performance and report on metrics.
Discover training needs and provide coaching.
Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments.
Attrition management, hiring and new hire training.
The selection process will include :
1) An assignment on question development and critical review - This will be a home assignment.
2) A Skype / face-to-face personal interview - For candidates who get shortlisted based on the performance in the home assignment.
