This opportunity is ideal for a proven pre-sales professional with an entrepreneurial attitude and experience selling transformational technologies into the Global Alliance Partner space.
As the Presales Engineer for our Cloud, Converged and Hyper-Converged datacenter offerings, this individual will provide technical expertise and partner with sales in all aspects of driving, assisting, and enabling account penetration and sales within a complex, highly matrixed ecosystem in order to maximize bookings / revenue, install base, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction.
Understand the Partners objectives around IT transformation and Service Delivery.
Become a trusted advisor to the key architectural decision makers within the assigned Partner.
Consult and design solutions to support assigned Partners business requirements and future strategies with MDC s expanding portfolio of products and services.
Leverage knowledge of competitive solutions to effectively address and dispel customer objections to MDC solutions, and train the account and partner teams
Establish relationships with the broader Dell Technologies account teams including other Strategically Aligned Businesses (especially VMWare and Pivotal) in support of sales team objectives and engage and leverage corporate resources, abilities, budgets and personnel as appropriate.
Lead cross-functional efforts to expand existing business through the identification and development of new use cases for our technologies.
Execute technical sales calls with the ability to sell effectively at the Executive level as well to architectural decision makers and system administrators
Create compelling documentation on MDC solutions to support sales objectives, specifically Solution Abstracts that inform customer and other Dell teams about the intent of the solution design.
Completes required presales documentation quickly and accurately.
Qualifies sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding.
Presents and markets the design and value of proposed MDC solution and business case to customers, prospects and MDC management.
Possesses detailed product / technology / industry knowledge. Knowledge of job associated software and applications.
Extensive experience in the pre-sales space; 14+ years of experience in related Industry
Any graduate / post graduate
Good experience in HCI, CI and Storage and related products especially VMWare.
