About the Role :

  • Turn new requirements into code, including unit testing, deployment, and ongoing monitoring
  • Improvise on automation solutions with a team of DevOps engineers participating in embedded engagements and collaboration activities with stakeholders
  • Guide delivery teams through a DevOps transformation of the product lifecycle from requirements definition, through development, and operations
  • Proactively investigate, design, configure / integrate and test process control solutions to a variety of technical problems
  • Understand and build automated tests that fit into the bigger picture of software delivery for building CI / CD pipelines, optimizing the execution of tests, and ensuring that the tests are regularly providing fast and reliable feedback
  • Collaborate with peers to identify priorities for enablement measured by an increase in developer efficiency
  • About You :

  • Have 2 to 4 years of experience and a great understanding of both coding and software design principles
  • Bring a passionate drive of DevOps, automation, and modern tooling
  • Anticipate needs and implications of decisions, proactively working to identify, clarify, and resolve issues within and outside the organization in a timely manner
  • Remove roadblocks and solve large scale problems including working with teams across all business segments
  • Solve problems including working with teams across all business segments
  • Good knowledge on Git, TFVC, SVN and should know the differentiating factor among them.
  • Well versed in any build orchestration tool like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, TeamCity.
  • Experience in at least one or more scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure) is an asset
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog is an asset
  • Flexible to work over weekends.
