Job Description

Varian's R&D center in Pune is growing. We need our software test automation developers to be versatile and always eager to tackle new problems as we continue to push healthcare solutions forward.

Responsibilities include :

You will have ownership and responsibility for delivering high quality automation products / contents in the assigned projects

Conducting prototypes to prove the solution whenever required.

Work closely with team members to guide, establish and maintain robust automation pipeline

Conduct performance, load testing & troubleshooting of different components

Work closely with cross-functional teams for guidance in setting up automation framework

Establish CI pipeline for automation of multiple projects running in parallel and ensure close to 90%+ automation coverage

Active involvement in setting and configuring test environments

Automation of functional and non-functional test cases

Active participation in Defect Resolution Cycle

Participate in the review of engineering artifacts (such as System Requirements)

Work in compliance with Varian's quality system.

As a part of status reporting, will gather different test metrics

Perform other duties as assigned .

Job Requirements

Qualifications Required : BE, MSc, MCA, Computer Science or related discipline.

Experience (Years) : 5 -7 years

Technologies required : .Net / JAVA, C#, VSTS, API Automation Testing

Skills :

  • Should be able to understand business requirements and develop relevant scenarios and automation scripts.
  • Strong understanding of OOP, .Net / C# OR JAVA
  • Strong knowledge of Client / Server and Web based architecture.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
  • Hands on experience with REST / Web APIs testing
  • Hands-on experience with Test Tools for functional as well as load testing : MSTest, JMeter, SoapUI
  • Experience with performance analyzer / profiler & troubleshooting tools : LoadUI, JMeter, Memory profiler like ANTS, IIS Log analyzers etc.
  • Hands-on experience in setting up UI Automation Builds in a Continuous Integration environment in Team Build, TeamCity or any other continuous integration server
  • Experience working on Virtualization techniques using Citrix and / or VMware
  • Experience working with Cloud based deployment (Azure, AWS)
  • Sound understanding of agile testing and Scrum
  • Must be familiar with the SDLC in general and Testing Life Cycle in particular.
  • Clear concepts about of Continuous Integration
  • A background in a product-development company is preferred
