The Engineering Manager-Mobile takes the overall responsibility for development and maintenance of software development projects (IOS and Android Applications).
S / he is responsible for building, leading, and directing development strategy to build high quality products to achieve business goals.
Responsible for the product engineering road map, quality assurance and stability of Mobile Application of product.
Responsible for defining application architecture & provide necessary technical guidance to the development team with a hands on approach.
Leading the technical implementation, including architecture & code reviews, interaction with other sub-systems, technology stack & frameworks.
Manage a large group of people (8-10) and create an engaging environment; set individual goals, performance and growth for the team.
Maintain overall view of the projects handled by the team and manage project priorities; you will proactively deep dive for critical points and to achieve major milestones.
Oversee team wide quality metrics, best practices and coding patterns; you will provide expertise for the engineering strategy and implementation.
Setup best practices for development and champion their adoption and at the same time, architect & design technically robust, flexible and scalable solutions
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent - information technology, management information systems, software engineering, and networking
Minimum 7+ of experience in Mobile app development, with a minimum of 4 years of experience leading multiple development groups through software development cycles.
Experience of working on both Android and iOS applications
Proven experience of software development methodologies (Agile), principles, procedures, software management, and support tools and services, preferably in product engineering and development
Ability to make quick decisions in high pressure environments with limited information.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
