The role is of a team manager for a global analytics team. The work mix would be focused towards digital technologies and using data so generated for business analytics.
The candidate would be leading a team of high performing and smart analysts conversant with concepts of digital analytical techniques and machine learning modeling
Key Requirements :
Highly numerate, as demonstrated by Masters in a numerate subject such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics from Premier Institute or a track record of performance that demonstrates this ability
8+ years of experience in providing analytical services, with a significant experience working in a global delivery environment
Experience in Cards business will be a plus. Should have good understanding of the financial services industry
Provide analytics support to the business teams, understand the business context, formulate and execute appropriate analytical approach to address the business situation.
Develop / own comprehensive end to end solutions to address business problems. Drive innovative analytical approaches across the broader team and conceptualize and execute solutions to ambiguous problems.
Independently manage end to end partner communication
Understand business priorities and work out data driven solutions
Hands-on execution on a variety of projects using analytical techniques, deliver on multiple projects and ability to manage timelines around them
Ability to handle complex data and generate meaningful business insights
End to end project management and coach team members
Analytic Project Management : Build effective teams to deliver on business priorities. Decompose business priorities into candidate projects.
Consult with partners to initiate project aligned to business needs. Manage the project pipeline to ensure prioritization and resourcing.
Influence analytic approaches through learning’s and insights
Establish a structured interaction model with the partners
Mentor junior team members to develop their advanced analytics skillsets
Communication : Effectively communicate strategic considerations with team, partners and senior management
Participate in Periodic Meetings with Manager and Business Partners to share overall status of work, progress, issues
