  • Target Systems : Router / L3 / L2 or spine / leaf network device (Cisco, Arista), IPS / FW security device, L4 / L7 LB device
  • 5+ years experience supporting enterprise networks, trouble-shooting network and security elements
  • Strong hands-on work experience planning, designing, implementing, installing, maintaining enterprise level networks and security
  • Expert level proficiency working with Access Control List (ACLs), TCP / IP, VLAN, VRF, Port Security, Traffic Shaping, Quality of Service (QoS), IP routing.
  • Solid operational and working knowledge of enterprise network management platforms for fault isolation, traffic optimization, performance monitoring and reporting
  • Comprehensive hands-on experience with LAN, WLAN, MAN / WAN topologies
  • Proficiency with following monitoring applications : Cisco Works, Arista Cloud Vision, Zabbix, Nagios / Cacti
  • Solid experience in the following areas is a plus : Router(Cisco Nexus), L3 / L2(Cisco, Arista), Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet), Load Balancers (Citrix NetScaler)

  • Knowledge of virtualization network(NFV, SDN)
  • Experienced with optimizing network performance on openstack neutron.
  • Role & Responsibilities :

  • Provide day-to-day network and security operations support 7x24x365 for a global network infrastructure located in North America, Europe, APAC multiple regions
  • Solid hands-on network and security engineering (Infrastructure level) background with the ability to build collaborative work relationships with multi-
  • cultural diverse matrix teams : network engineers, Linux system admin, Openstack Admin, DBA, client support, managed services managers

  • Develops and documents : network and security designs, capacity planning, network optimization, network remediation's and / or upgrades
  • Review and prioritize daily workload activities for service requests and incident repair tickets.
  • Ensure tickets are correctly documented, resolved and closed-out in a timely manner in order to meet SLA requirements
  • Ensures all network and security infrastructure changes are properly documented, strictly adhere to change control management process before any changes are approved and performed
  • Develop, maintain & prepare weekly and / or monthly performance metrics (traffic utilization, LAN / WAN availability, outage incident responses & root cause report analysis)
  • Develops, maintains and coordinates annual disaster recovery test plans
