GTH TS team under the TAS umbrella provides assistance to EY member firms on Financial Due Diligence engagements. The TS Team hires people who have a post-graduate degree in MBA Finance or are Chartered Accountants with past experience in corporate finance.

The GTH TS team came into existence in January 2007, working closely with EY US, UK, India and other global practice teams in supporting projects related to Financial Due Diligence and business development work primarily.

GTH TS team is assisting in activities like data book & report preparation including detailed analysis of financial statements, graphics and charting, company profiles and industry research.

  • Performing detailed analysis of financial statements
  • Qualitative and Quantitative research ability
  • Performing valuation and research analysis that leads to insights
  • Managing risk and practice management
  • Articulating TAS value propositions and developing the business
  • Competencies / skills :

  • Have a sound grasp of MS Power point and Excel; a natural interest in working and learning to use it to an advanced level
  • Have ability to search / source right information from relevant sources
  • Have knowledge of research databases like Capital IQ, Fact set, One Source, Factiva, Reuters, etc.
  • Have strong knowledge of financial statements
  • Have strong interpersonal skills
  • Have an eye for detail and be able to work under pressure
  • Have excellent written and spoken English skills, and be able to discuss and reason complex technical issues
  • Actively promote the sharing of knowledge within the group
  • Be organized and structured in the completion of tasks
  • Contribute pro-actively to building team spirit
  • Job Specification :

    Education & Experience :

  • MBA / PG Diploma (Fin) with 3+ yrs relevant experience
  • Technical skills requirements :

  • Strong quantitative skills and an analytical approach
  • Demonstrable organization and self-management skills
  • Strong knowledge of databases like Capital IQ, Fact set One Source etc
  • Additional skills requirements :

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High degree of personal drive and motivation to succeed
  • Experience of working in a professional services environment, including exposure to high profile transactions, would be a distinct advantage
