Designation - Product Owner

Location - Bengaluru

We are looking for a Product Owner to join our Global Contract Price team. As Product Owner Contract Pricing you are the liaison between product management, product development and other stakeholders, translating business needs into product requirements, and making our B2B software products come to life.

This role is based in Bangalore and you will have daily interactions with other teams across Syncron’s international organization.


As Product Owner Pricing you are responsible for planning and managing the development of one or several services in the pricing management products.

The role is truly cross-functional. You will gather, document, and prioritize business needs, translate these to product requirements, work closely with the product development organization in shaping and testing new releases, and interact with the Customer Success organization and Pre-sales in refinement and further development of the services.

The role will require some travelling.

As Product Owner :

  • Manage the whole lifecycle of your services, from idea to released functionality
  • Define the high-level design of the services, develop and document use cases, and provide input to release notes and user guides
  • Secure that the services meet the customers’ business needs.
  • Understand and take part in discussions about the consequences of the architectural / technical decision taken by the development team.
  • Work closely with the Product Manager Contract Pricing as well as other Product Owners to ensure that your services are well integrated with the overall road map for the contract pricing products as well as other relevant products.
  • Provide stakeholders and other entities within Syncron with information about your services.
  • Requirements

  • We are looking for a person who would like to be part of an international team building a world-class SaaS solution targeting aftermarket profitability and service optimization.
  • Relevant University Degree in Engineering and / or Business Administration
  • 2-5 years’ relevant work experience as a Product Owner in an IT development environment
  • Must have worked with B2B software
  • Experience in identifying and shaping business needs into product requirements through workshops, interviews, prototyping and other techniques
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to act effectively in the intersection between business and IT
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in working with supply chain management, optimization and / or pricing, contract or warranty management
  • International business experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
