Job Summary The Senior Investigator is responsible for managing, conducting and reporting on all assigned compliance investigations.
Our Investigator will be handling complex and sensitive cases with possible criminal and / or disciplinary consequences at different organization levels.
In this position you will be actively interacting with Senior Management and with external investigative bodies. The Investigator has the mission to ensure that investigations conducted take into account the various cultural norms that may impact upon successful investigation activity.
The Investigator is in charge for the regular reports to his / her in-country Management and functionally to Compliance Investigation & Regulatory.
What are my responsibilities? Primarily responsible for the management, planning, conduct and reporting on all investigations assigned under the responsibility of Regulatory Case Handling.
Responsible for assisting other Case Handling staff or Regional Compliance Officers in the conduct of mandated investigations.
Provide support, training, guidance and direction in the analysis and investigation of highly complex compliance-related matters to more junior staff.
As necessary, required to represent the Case Handling to senior management and external entities, such as public and private sector investigative agencies in the region.
Details : Investigative : Responsible for management and preparation of all planned investigative approaches for the investigations assigned in line with the Company Investigations Process.
Responsible to ensure that investigations in the region are conducted in a professional and timely manner. Ensures that all investigations in the region adequately consider the risks for the business from a compliance perspective.
Provide regional management with timely and risk-based advice on matters arising from assigned investigation activity. Details : Reporting : Responsible for efficient and timely reporting of the results of all assigned investigative activities in the region to the Head of Compliance Inevstigation & Regulatory.
Responsible for the timely and efficient preparation, factual correctness, appropriate legal argumentation and drafting of relevant, risk-based recommendations for disciplinary and other remediation actions to prevent future misconduct.
Actively participate in the remediation of all recommendations issued in assigned reports. What do I need to qualify for this job?
Education Bachelor / Master Degree (in Business Administration, Law, Accounting, Political Science or similar fields) from reputable University or colleges.
