Team
The Kennedys IQ team are responsible for the development of the IQ Platform, an online application designed to facilitate the insurance claims process using a combination of intelligent data capture, workflow augmented with legal expertise, as well as analytics including machine learning and natural language processing.
Projects
Working under the direction of the firm's Development Manager, and Project Managers as part of projects to develop and implement new applications, upgrades and changes to existing systems
Maintaining and developing skills in Web, .Net, database and development technologies currently used by the firm, particularly Enterprise scale applications integration and other technologies as required by the IT Director
Testing and documentation
Performing appropriate pre-release testing
Advising test staff
Documentation of database administration and maintenance tasks such that they can be performed by other team members if required
Support
Assist development and support staff, sometimes out of hours, with application releases and system upgrades
4th line support, including diagnoses and resolution of database issues, faults and rectification
Essential
Develop and maintain services used in application integrations.
Design integration solutions and documentation.
Work with development teams to architect, design, build, and implement integrations.
Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, data extraction, and integration with frontend components.
Strong database knowledge in SQL server.
Write T-SQL or SQL code to retrieve appropriate data as derived from requirements.
Build reports to support business analysis.
Coordinate directly with users and analyst to best understand and analyse business specifications.
Provide technical assistance to troubleshoot and resolve integration errors.
Desirable
Experience as a Full Stack or backend Developer
Dotnet Core, Dotnet Standard, ASP.NET Core, C#
MEAN stack and JavaScript
Azure DevOps + portal and continues integration
Any Experience with Linux, Docker / Kubernetes would be advantageous
