The Amazon Kindle team is looking for a senior product manager to partner with publishers and authors on improving the security of digital books, while ensuring a great reading experience Kindle readers across all devices.
This product manager will own the vision, strategy and roadmap for the Kindle Publisher Trust team.
A successful candidate will be highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, simple products and applications.
You will work closely with engineering, design business, operations, vendor management and executives to launch features and build tools and mechanisms.
Define product roadmaps based on long-term vision and strategy and supported by customer research
Crisply frame hotly debated and high stakes decisions for senior leadership. Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
Rapidly iterate based on behavioural measurements, customer feedback, and other data sources to ensure we are building the right features over time.
Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members
MBA and BE / BS in computer science or related technical field
Experience of rapid experimentation and using quantitative and qualitative data to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and measure success.
History working on complex digital products (preferably end-customer-facing) through multiple lifecycles.
Ability to think both strategically and tactically; equally comfortable with long-term planning and day-to-day progress tracking and execution.
Interest in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired.
Strong collaboration skills. You have a proven ability to work across functions and across marketplaces to influence senior leaders.

Candidates with Data Security, Data Protection and Content Vulnerability Detection and Solution Products are preferred. Not mandatory.
