Position Purpose :
To enable the delivery of high quality contracts through the deployment of optimized analytical tools, process standards and templates, including leveraging best practices across NBS R&D Procurement (GPP).
In collaboration with Franchise and Category GPPs, and divisional business partnering organizations, the Business Analyst Clinical Compliance (BACC) will support the onboarding / migration, maintenance, utilization and trouble-
shooting of the suite of IT tools used by GPP. Oversight and developed expertise of the respective IT platforms and procurement processes is critical to the role.
By providing insights, benchmarking and education / training to our internal customer base, they play an important role in driving continuous improvement within their area and enabling the function to become world-class
Major Accountabilities :
Responsible for various monthly reporting and analysis; including the collation of multiple data sources (qualitative and quantitative) for the recurring production of dashboards and written progress reports
Working with Procurement Operations and other 3rd parties, function as the Project Management lead to support the technical migration of existing tools / databases to new platforms (e.
g., RoadRunner, OMS, CLM, Ariba)
Functions as the GPP contract management platform / process SME
Development, recording and distribution of KPIs / metrics in support of ongoing GPP productivity monitoring
Coordination and collaboration with NBS reporting analysts to ensure transparency and consistency on various performance metrics
Responsible for finding ways to improve and automate recurrent processes, thus allowing greater focus on value add activities
Leverages external information sources to provide interpretation, perspective and insights of Procurement performance
Enhancement of methodology used to ensure adherence to productivity and savings reporting, individual contacts and top-level
Contract expiration monitoring and dissemination of relevant data to the business
Identifies opportunities for the improvement of the function, through analysis of historical performance and trends
Perform Consistency Checks and corrective actions (e.g. Preferred vendors and related contract coverage)
Maintenance of all related GPP intranet based sites and network drives, including GPP Sharepoint and its content (e.g., template repository)
Supports development of best in class’ contracting and outsourcing processes and assists with implementation across divisions
Provides data from internal systems and contract repositories for various purposes; responsible for data integrity for contracting systems and repositories
As needed, develops tools and templates used by GPP ensuring effectiveness and appropriateness for GPP staff, internal customers and preferred vendors as appropriate
Performs review of data integrity from contract repository and internal systems to identify errors and trends
University level degree in Business Administration / Economics / Finance / Statistics English (proficiency in speaking and writing) Minimum 8+ years working experience, ideally for a multi-
national organization Experience in Spend reporting, analysis and optimization
