    The purpose of this role is to support the Middle East Business Development (BD) & Marketing function, through providing administrative support to the delivery and project management of client focus, business development, sales support, and marketing initiatives.

    In this role you will work together with the local and global BD & Marketing teams, partners, lawyers and other stakeholders, to facilitate the flow of information and assist with the delivery of top quality BD and marketing materials, provide organisational support on a range of initiatives and work with BD & Marketing infrastructure systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    Client focus and business development

  • Providing general client research / intelligence on request;
  • Assisting with running financial reports for key clients;
  • Assisting with the production of pitches and proposals as necessary; and updating capability statements for the Middle East, with new deals, awards and rankings;
  • Maintaining relevant database systems for capturing deal information and playing a lead role in key league table submissions.
  • Collating and updating partner and associate CVs and maintaining a centralised CV library for the Middle East;
  • Working with secretaries to maintain client mailing lists, providing training to secretaries and fee earners on InterAction as required;
  • Assisting with and managing client legal education seminars and hospitality events;
  • Engage with appropriate internal CC teams to extract relevant information required for the task / activity; and
  • Collating, assessing & analysing information and should be able to articulate the outcome respectively
  • Marketing Communications

  • Assisting with the production and delivery of external and internal marketing communications e.g., newsletters, email;
  • Digital Marketing skills should have good understanding of social media platforms and able to support in publishing posts, drafting and proof-reading press releases and other posts for digital platforms i.
  • e. content updating etc.

  • Liaising with the marketing team and partners to produce marketing materials such as brochures and contact cards;
  • Maintaining fee earner photo library and arranging for a photographer to take photos of new joiners;
  • Assisting in maintaining and updating the internet and intranet sites for the Middle East; and
  • Assisting with the production of directory submissions, awards and overseeing the coordination of the interview process.
  • Events Planning

  • Assisting with all aspects of event planning, which will include webinars, training and social hospitality events organised across the Middle offices;
  • Liaising with relevant stakeholders to create event proposals, booking venues, booking online technology platforms (for webinars), helping to prepare materials and presentations;
  • Preparing invitations and organising mailings;
  • Organising rehearsals;
  • Supporting on related press / media campaigns to publicise the webinar / event;
  • Circulating updates internally to stakeholders on acceptance rates and following up to ensure all details of the event are finalised for a successful delivery.
  • Conducting post event / webinar feedback with relevant stakeholders.
  • General

  • Handling both internal and external enquiries (including from other members of the firm, clients / potential clients, the media and salespeople);
  • Providing day-to-day support to the Middle East BD & Marketing Managers as required.
  • Skills & Experience

  • 5-7 years of experience in professional services or large corporate environment. Previous legal marketing experience will be added advantage;
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with demonstrated service orientation;
  • Analytical thought and problem solving skills;
  • Excellent project management, organisational and planning skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects and meet deadlines;
  • High level of maturity and confidence necessary to interact with firm lawyers;
  • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM database programmes (in particular InterAction);
  • High level of attention to detail and meticulous follow-through;
  • Team player who is also self-motivated and can work independently with minimal supervision; and
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable to change and have the flexibility to adjust work schedule according to workload demands or planned events.
