As a Manager for Seller Advertising, you will be responsible for driving advertising business through existing top sellers and manage key programs along with new advertising product adoption for the 3P marketplace business.
This is a people manager role with a team of account managers giving inputs to sellers on the best practices of campaign creation and driving advertising inputs.
You will have to meet key sellers and ensure the long-term development of a partnership. In doing so, you will act on the same level as senior decision-
makers on the customer side and define holistic marketing strategies, leveraging all of Amazon’s innovative advertising solutions.
Our goal is to establish and expand long-term business relations, and drive sustainable success for our advertiser customers.
To achieve that, you will lead the engagement with the help of account managers and generate advertising revenue from them.
By managing your sales pipeline independently, gaining a deep understanding of the needs of your accounts and developing convincing solutions, you will ensure the achievement of your short- and long-term objectives.
This role also involves working with key stakeholders across the category, program, and product teams to drive strategically important 3P initiatives through advertising
Role also involves engaging with product and program teams to understand new products launched and creating strategy and GTM plans to drive adoption of these products among 3P sellers.
It involves creating a closed loop mechanism to capture seller feedback on product and ensure it gets incorporated in product roadmap.
The incumbent will own goals on product adoption and revenue for new products
The ideal candidate will have a sales / marketing background with a strong understanding of the digital / e-commerce ecosystem, proven track record of winning strategic customers / signing strategic partnerships, possess strong communications skills, and have the ability to think strategically and analytically about the business, product, and market opportunities and challenges.
He / she should have the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus.
He / she will have a keen sense of ownership, drive, and desire to win!
Prior experience in digital marketing / sales or brand management. Experience of driving new product adoption and stakeholder management would be a plus
