This Financial Analyst position will be part of a team that is responsible for financial and analytical support for the Oversight and Controls organization within Consumer & Community Banking (CCB).

The successful candidate will help partner with the Chief Control Officer’s leadership team in the budgeting / forecasting process as well as provide insight and analysis used in decision making by the business.

Responsibilities include :

Prepare consolidated executive presentations for monthly financial reviews with senior management

Partner with the Business Control Officers and their teams to effectively manage expenses on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Effectively analyze and report variances of actual results to budget, forecast, and prior periods

Coordinate with business partners to assist in budgeting efforts

Coordinate with CCB Real Estate team and business partners to assist in site consolidation and move efforts

Establish and maintain business relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Drive process improvement to enhance reporting and gain efficiencies

Demonstrate strong problem solving skills, especially in a fast-paced environment

Proactively take ownership of financial data and elevate any issues

Complete ad-hoc research and analysis as needed

Qualifications -

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required

2-4 years of related financial analytical experience

Ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately

Self-starter with the ability to work independently to meet deliverables

Experience in preparing reports detailing monthly financial performance

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills, including good judgement and decision making capabilities

Advanced presentation skills

Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint (PitchPro)

Hyperion Essbase and SAP experience strongly preferred
