We are looking for Data Scientists to help us create innovative machine learning solutions in promotion and pricing analytics.

Data Scientist responsibilities include understanding the business problem and experimenting with different modelling architectures to create the best possible setup from model performance as well as computational performance.

To do this job successfully, you need exceptional skills in Machine Learning and Programming

This is a highly analytical role that requires to consider data from multiple sources and develop complex pricing models that reflect margins for promotional and seasonal pricing based on competitor, market, and customer data

Job Description

  • Understanding business objectives, formulating the problem, and solutioning using statistical and machine learning techniques
  • Working with complex data sets to help businesses determine and set competitive prices to gain market share and achieve revenue goals
  • Build analytical solutions to understand effect of price, marketing / promotions spend on KPIs like users, consumption, and brand metrics
  • Develop and maintain robust data processing pipelines and reproducible modelling pipelines
  • Explore data and communicate insights clearly to non-technical as well as technical audience
  • Guide and mentor junior data scientists on solution development
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Quantitative discipline, preferably Computer Science
  • 3 years’ experience in data science / Analytics roles in marketing analytics space with focus on pricing and promotions analysis
  • Working on building pricing models, market mixed models, promotion analysis, revenue forecasting, determining pricing and marketing strategies etc
  • Expert ability to write robust code in Python
  • Familiarity with standard machine learning libraries (like scikit-learn, StatsModels)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You take complete ownership of your work and are self-driven
  • Good to Have

  • Familiarity in working with Azure, AWS, GCP etc.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra
  • Experience with containerizing applications using Docker
