JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Driving global Sourcing initiatives for Software license procurement
Expert in Software Licensing and subscription models
Software Vendor negotiations, contract management, and global monitoring
Selection and setup of Software Asset Management Tool
Vendor relationship management and Governance strategy for Software License vendors
Suggest / implement ways to achieve business value and optimal cost from vendors
Implement and monitor Vendor governance strategies, processes and guidelines
Requirements management collecting / translating business requirements for RFx process
Stakeholder management working / collaborating with different IT units and business units
Being part of a global team and working with different work cultures
CANDIDATE PROFILE :
Software License expert with around 6 to 10 years industry experience covering the areas mentioned above in Job Responsibilities’, which should also include :
Experience in setting up and using SAM tools.
Wide expertise across multiple software and hardware related licenses
Up to date in industry practices and models related to software licenses
Hands-on experience negotiating software license agreements and contracts
Experience working with software licenses in Automotive domain
Knowledge and experience in SaaS, PaaS, IaaS models
Knowledge of cloud setup and associated licensing models
Exposure to all IT commodities -IS / IT services, s / w licenses and IT Infrastructure
Experience in global stakeholder management (preferably with Japan, US and Europe)
Ability to establish good relationships and work across all levels of the organisation
Experience desired in Vendor Management, Contract Management and Sourcing process
Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Management, Finance, Commerce, or Engineering
This is a full time position, reporting functionally to the VMO Manager
Travel Required : Occasional travel required both international and local.
