Position Description

We are looking for a talented engineer to work on design, development and support of Firmware for Marvell Ethernet Adapters and Converged Network Adapters.

The primary responsibilities for this position are :

  • Participate in all phases of software development including requirements gathering, architecture definition, design, implementation, unit testing, peer technical reviews and support.
  • Design and develop capabilities and features for configuration and control of Ethernet controller hardware related to system management, ethernet link, PCIe, etc.
  • Mentor junior engineers
  • Required Skills

  • 8+ years of solid hands-on experience in developing firmware for memory constrained embedded environments and SoCs.
  • Excellent analytical and problems solving skills.
  • Excellent C language programming skills.
  • Strong hands-on experience with I2C or SPI interfaces and protocols.
  • Knowledge of Ethernet and TCP / IP protocol
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of structured software development processes and methodologies.
  • Good communication skills and being able to provide technical leadership
  • Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of Desktop management with DASH
  • Knowledge of SoC architecture and operation
  • Familiarity with Ethernet Serdes programming.
  • Experience with scripting language like Python, TCL or Perl.
