Position Description :

  • BMC IT is looking for a Technology Oriented Professionals for the Digital Solutions team.
  • The expectation from the role is to deliver web based applications & solutions for BMC’s internal & external customers.
  • The position requires a hands-on experienced professional with an extensive background in designing & developing enterprise web applications.
  • The candidate must be able to translate requirements into a technical design.
  • The position expects demonstration of innovation.
  • The individual will interact with BMC’s service managers, enterprise architects, global development teams and third-party technology providers.
  • Primary Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Develop software using Agile methodology
  • Establish and Review Estimations
  • Should be proactive and involved in the technical designs and solutions
  • Suggest improvements / ideas while working on projects
  • Recommend proper tools and technologies to be more productive and collaborative in a remote and distributed environment
  • Perform code review and oversight throughout the project
  • Accountable to delivery of IT projects for Digital Solutions team
  • Must be able to work independently and be self-directed
  • Participate in technology evaluations and Proof of Concepts
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Should be able to interpret the business requirements and discuss with technical team / designers
  • Must be able to work independently with the stakeholders
  • SCRUM experience is mandatory
  • Qualifications :

  • BS, BE or higher degree
  • Experience of at least 7-8 years working in a global delivery model.
  • Hands on experience with J2EE and related technologies, platforms and frameworks
  • Experience with SPRING / SPRING-BOOT framework
  • Strong knowledge of Relational Databases, PL / SQL, JDBC
  • Strong hands on experience of using ORMs like Hibernate / Spring Data .
  • Also, should have good understanding of Web 2.0 front end development practices like AngularJS, ReactJS & server side MVC frameworks.
  • Exposure to code version control tools and workflows .
  • Exposure to Continuous Integration tools and process experience, preferably Jenkins, Maven.
  • Strong understanding of Performance Tuning and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Very good understanding of Quality processes and build / release management
  • Should be aware of the SAFE 4.0 framework
