Enterprise Core Services (ECS) group is within the Enterprise Information Technology business and a critical component of the Enterprise CIO operating model aimed at providing common, consistent, and foundational software services and solutions to be used across technology at Wells Fargo.
The group includes the strategic development and support of core information management services including data technology blue print, common data services, customer relationship management services and customer due diligence services to be leveraged across all technology teams in Wells Fargo.
Additionally their Cloud enablement services is another strategic priority to re-engineer of a significant portion of Wells Fargo's large and complex application portfolio.
About the Role
As part of the Mainframe Servicing team, assist in various developmental activities (Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, and Implementation on priority project work as well as Production support activities (24x7).
Interact with other members of the Mainframe Services team, Servicing Support, Operations, Scheduling, STG, TOG, Project Management, and Business contacts.
Participate in System Development Life Cycle activities requiring documentation, attending project meetings, providing status updates, testing activities, (execution, validation, defect analysis, and resolution.
Communication (verbal and written) throughout this entire lifecycle is critical, ensuring complete requirements are driven out, test results explained, safety & soundness adherence, and implementation timeframes are clear and accurate.
Mainframe based processing and applications.
Data exchanges with Systems of Record and upstream and downstream users.
Volumes (millions of loans across multiple systems) and Frequencies (multiple times a day to once a year) align with the mainframe capabilities and capacities.
Participate in calls with upstream and downstream systems for handshaking, issue resolution.
Work on development of new data exchange interfaces, testing and deployments.
A Bachelor's degree
5+ years Application Development experience in the Mainframe environment
Highly developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively at all levels of the organization.
Ability to successfully work in rapidly changing environment with multiple priorities; adapts well to change.
Experience communicating with and to all levels of team members and leaders.
Mainframe knowledge preferably with the following :
Endevor and / or Panvalet
IBM Utilities (IEBGENEER, ISPF, ect.)
Experience in Loan Servicing preferred
