The QA Manager must have a strong background in software engineering, testing, and automation to drive the overall planning, execution, tracking and delivery of projects within the organization.

To expand, the selected resource must possess : Knowledge and hands-on experience with a variety of test automation tools, experience with large scale enterprise product, experience with relational databases and management background.

In addition, the QA Manager should have experience in coding and / or testing in the denoted technologies.

Education : B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA from a leading University.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7 - 10 years of experience.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Should have exposure to managing QA department in Product companies and for large projects in the Digital Education (Good to have).
  • Demonstrated leadership role.
  • Working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
  • Worked with Scrum and Kanban teams.
  • Detail oriented with proven ability to multitask in a fast moving environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements.
  • Proactive, responsive and keen on process enhancement.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality software on time.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of employees. Responsibilities
  • Define, design, implement, maintain, execute and document QA practices and procedures.
  • Develop, document and execute test plans according to software specifications.
  • Assist in revising quality standards where necessary and ensuring released software meets those standards.
  • Directing multiple teams of QA Engineers / Leads in their performance of the quality tasks needed to produce quality software.
  • Determine and implement processes and practices that increase efficiency while improving quality.
  • Assist in the estimation of project tasks for assigned testing areas.
  • Responsible for all aspects of assigned project from planning, execution, to final delivery. Manage and report status of assigned projects, this includes daily update as needed with regard to coverage, bugs, scheduling, risk and overall quality assessment.
  • Manage and develop on and off-site teams.
  • Work closely with other QA Leads to resolve priority and resources conflicts as needed. Work closely with developers to provide additional research that is needed to understand the issues and assist with debugging where suitable.
  • Responsible for resource assignments, recruiting, SQA assessments, training and performance reviews.
  • Build a strong technical culture / environment that allows for individual growth, solutions flexibility and innovativeness
