Delivering features, services, components for travel ecosystem that touches millions of customers across the globe
Perform all technical aspects of software development (I write, I test, I support) and automation
Function as an active member of an agile team driving the consistent and latest development practices
Perform unit, component, integration testing of software components including the design, implementation, evaluation, and execution of unit and assembly test scripts
Conduct code reviews and tests of automated build scripts
Evangelize industry best practices
Learn new technologies and drive opportunities for adoption
Debug software components, identifies, fixes and verifies remediation of code defects (own work and the work of others)
Seek to understand your customer's needs and problems
Promote inner sourcing
Education & Experience :
8+ years of software development experience in a professional environment and / or comparable experience such as :
BS degree or higher in computer science or related discipline
Java - Java 8+ experience building enterprise applications with proven design patterns
Spring - Experience / knowledge with the Spring framework, specifically Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
Experience / knowledge with the frontend programming (React / Angular / HTML / CSS)
CI / CD - Build pipelines for continue integration and delivery : Git, Jenkins, Jacoco, JMeter, etc.
Testing Frameworks - Experience with Testing Frameworks for backend / front-end and automation testing
NoSQL - Experience / knowledge with NoSQL databases such as Couchbase is an advantage.
PaaS - Nice to have
Strong understanding of Software development principles and concepts like OOPS, Data Structures / Algorithms etc.
Knowledge of development frameworks, design patterns and agile practices
Understand functional requirements and should be able to develop technical design using standard patterns and be able to communicate the same effectively to the team members.
Analyze and identify gaps in functional / business requirement and should be able to effectively communicate with both Business and Functional analysts on the same.
Highly collaborative, ability to craft simple, elegant and comprehensive solutions
Enterprise Scale Engineering experience (Industry standard build / test / deploy tools)
Experience with design and coding across one or more platforms and languages a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication and documentation abilities
Comfortable in a small, intense and high-growth environment
