Responsibilities and Duties :

Design and verification of the schematic and layout for the products

Creation of BOM

Debugging and testing of the hardware

Guide young engineers in hardware design and debugging.

Define test procedure to test the hardware.

Bring up of different hardware boards.

Documentation of the procedure of bring up, testing.

Qualifications :

Must have B.E (EC) or equivalent degree from recognized university

Must have more than three years of experience in Hardware design, testing, board bring up.

Must have sound knowledge of EDA tools like Orcad, Altium or PADS etc.

Must have strong troubleshooting & board bring up skills.

Must have expert level of knowledge in using Digital Storage Oscilloscope, Multi-meter, Power Analyzer and Logic Analyzer & Analyzer & another Lab equipment.

Experience to design Multilayer PCB according to IPC guidelines, knowledge of DFM & DFT analysis.

Should have Knowledge of Mixed signal design, High speed design and active and passive component selection.

Should be willing to take additional responsibilities during the execution based on the business need.

A willingness to learn is critical. Must be a team player.

Knowledge of EMI / EMC / ISO standards and general QA procedures will be added advantage.
