Job Description :

We are seeking a knowledgeable application support engineer to monitor and support our internal / external facing web based application in the content management and media assets management domain.

In this role, your duties will include reporting to the department head, collaborating with the development team, internal and external users, vendors and performing successful code migration into AWS cloud platform.

You will also be required to provide training and testing of the applications of all new releases before rolling into production.

Responsibilities :

  • Providing software application support under the supervision of the department head / application manager. Performing analyses on software application functionality and suggesting improvements for web applications and media asset manager.
  • Ensuring effective front-end and back-end functionality of applications.
  • Consulting with the software development team, external vendors, internal users, and clients to improve application performance.
  • Managing code migration across environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionality.
  • Establishing the root causes of application errors, and escalating serious concerns to department head / application manager.
  • Keeping a record of configuration changes and scheduling application updates.
  • Documenting processes and monitoring application performance metrics.
  • Providing front-end support to clients and colleagues in other departments.

    Functional Role : Technical Support Executive

  • A bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology,
  • information systems, computer engineering, or similar.
  • Demonstrable experience as an application support engineer with domain knowledge in
  • Media industry and asset management.
  • Advanced knowledge of front-end and back-end programming languages, such as PHP, Javascript, SQL, HTML and CSS.
  • Ability to manage code migration, document configuration changes, and monitor performance.
  • Exceptional ability to provide front-end support to internal departments and web-based clients.
  • Advanced proficiency in determining the causes of application errors and repairing them.
  • Knowledge of Media Metadata.
  • Ability to keep up with innovation in application design.
  • Exceptional communication skills..
  • Candidate Requirement
  • Candidate with BCA or MCA qualifications with about 3 years experience..
  • Experience : 3 - 9 years

    Qualification : Post Graduate in Engineering with M.C.A

    Preferred Resume Format : MS-Word

    Compensation Details

    Salary : 4.00 Lakh to 5.50 Lakh (Indian Rupees) per annum

    This position is based at our Powai office. Weekly off is Sunday and office hours are 9am to
