The Global Translation team delivers next-generation translation solutions in the effort to enhance the user experience as Dell creates new products for a changing world.

Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop solutions for platforms, applications and diagnostics all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrate SDL TMS instance across all of Dell Technologies.
  • Experience creating and managing custom workflows
  • Experience with onboarding and managing user accounts
  • Manage TMs (Including, creation and maintenance).
  • Prepare software and web applications for localization.
  • Configure and manage vendor utilization of the platform
  • Work with SDL support engineers to resolve issues within projects
  • Monitor system performance and restore service as needed
  • Participate in regular status meeting with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Support LPM in defining localization process and proper setup within the tool.
  • Create scripts / programs to automate processes.
  • Collaborate with I18N team to ensure a seamless solution from development through delivery.
  • Quickly develop ad-hoc solutions for customer integrations (Each of our stakeholders has unique needs).
  • Support / Mentor Localization Project Managers on use of the system.
  • Constantly reassess processes, to ensure the optimal solutions are in place.
  • Essential Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Localization industry.
  • Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive Knowledge of SDL TMS, SDL Trados, Passolo, and other CAT Tools.
  • Extensive technical knowledge of Localization Tools and Localization Standards.
  • Knowledge of XML technology.
  • Knowledge of programming languages syntax such as Java, C++, C#, etc.
  • Knowledge of internet related technology (.NET, HTML, XML, PHP, ASP).
  • Excellent communication / people skills including the ability to convey technical information to a cross-functional team including client technical and non-technical resources.
  • Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with API Integrations
  • Understanding or work experience with the Internationalization or Globalization industry
  • Program Management skills experience
