Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications.

Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs.

Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.

BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience., Fusion SCM PSR Engineer

Description :

The Fusion SCM PSR Engineer will be part of a team that ensures the Performance, Scalability and Reliability of Fusion SCM products.

  • He or she will be a key contributor to the team's responsibilities : overseeing product development teams' definition and measurement of key performance indicators (KPIs);
  • designing and executing processes to monitor the performance, scalability and reliability of SCM products and environments, and implementing tools to enable those processes;
  • educating SCM engineers about tools and best practices for writing code that is performant, scalable and reliable, and debugging PSR issues;
  • and serving as in-house experts for debugging difficult PSR bugs in SCM products and environment. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to learn quickly, prioritize well, interact well with others, and thrive on challenging work.

  • He or she will be enthusiastic about improving our products' performance, scalability and reliability. The candidate will have deep knowledge of core computer science;
  • advanced debugging skills, including experience debugging performance problems in complex systems; entrepreneurial energy to improve tools and processes;
  • and well developed communication skills. This is a highly visible position, interacting frequently with management, product developers, central technical and architecture authorities, and technical representatives from other product families and technology providers.
