Job Summary

This role reports to the Director of Regional Procurement for a financial services client. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of Client and CBRE processes, procedures, and technologies within the country teams for both Principal and Managing Agent spend.

The candidate with work with the Director of Regional Procurement to provide active support in countries for spend that does not fall under Category Management, but requires regional involvement such as tenders that are greater than $50k.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Excellence

  • Responsible to Build and Execute and effective strategy to enable procurement excellence in countries using tools, policies and procedures already established
  • Responsible for driving consistent us of technology in countries (value track, zycus, my supplier, iRisk, etc.)
  • Design and provide training to local teams as required for best procurement practices
  • Ensure robust performance management systems are implemented and MI is used to inform of suppliers performance
  • Manage value track process and first line approver of vetting savings initiatives
  • Manage and report on the health of the supply base using MySupplier and other systems
  • Manage the Regional supply portfolio in Asia from a tactical and strategic sourcing perspective according to contracts expiring ensuring there is an annual sourcing and savings plan
  • Support countries on tactical sourcing initiatives
  • Build close alignment with the client and internal / external stakeholders in country
  • Drive monthly Golden Source updates for Managing Agent spend and assist in identifying opportunities
  • Support FM teams with any Principal supplier escalation issues
  • Adhere to compliance policies and procedures and ensure compliance across the Region to policies and procedures
  • Identify risks and apply risk minimizing techniques
  • Leverage all resources available to deliver the best value to the client (technology, global teams, platform sourcing, etc.)
  • Take on other responsibilities as required

  • Identify risks and apply risk minimizing controls and techniques
  • Adhere to all account and CBRE compliance policies and procedures
  • Work with Compliance Analyst to identify compliance gaps in the team and develop appropriate trainings.
  • Creates process maps as required for understanding within countries

  • Responsibilities for assigned projects include managing and maintaining the project plans, assist in business requirement review, assembling cross functional teams, managing scope, and actively manage costs, quality and risk
  • Creates and manages project plans; monitors and reviews project progress and timelines; adjusts schedules and plans as needed;
  • identifies and resolves issues to ensure project(s) success.

  • Manages day-to-day execution of project implementations, documentations and status updates for the project(s).

  • Develop engagement opportunities between client, internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Produce relevant industry & supplier strategic insights to Leadership
  • Execution focus with a commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and customer service
  • Understanding of Compliance and Risk and ability to define mitigating strategies
  • Work with Clients Supply Chain Management and Supply Partner Management team as required for certain categories of spend

  • Must be a self-starter
  • Participate actively in the Regional Sourcing team dedicated to the client.
  • Continue to develop via talent coach.
  • Work closely with Compliance Analyst and Data Analyst.

  • Promote and support safety programs and culture
  • Engage in the reduction of Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR)
  • Qualification

    Bachelor degree and experience working in Procurement preferably in a client facing model. Minimum of five years of related experience and / or training.


    Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal and external stakeholders.

    Ability to effectively present information. Ability to provide persuasive arguments and negotiate with suppliers.


    Requires an understanding of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.

    Must be able to analyze commercial results and make a recommendation.


    Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving a variety of options in complex situations and provide solutions where necessary.

    Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.


    Experience in working closely with stakeholders in many locations and training them on the policies, procedures, and technology tools with regards to how it will help them in their roles.

    Experience in strategic sourcing and contracting for services is essential.


    Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite & Tableau. Data analytics to tell a story with diagrams, charts and ppt.

    Must have a strong command of the English language and excel in the areas of spelling, grammar and punctuation. Knowledge and experience with CBRE systems such as Zycus, iRisk and MySupplier.

    Willing to work on APAC hours

    The role is flexible in location, meaning this has been opened in other countries simultaneously particularly in China, Malaysia, India, and Philippines.

    Work location will depend on the home country of the identified candidate.

    Amenable to work onsite depending on business needs (HYBRID arrangement)
