Job Description and Qualifications
The IT Applications Automation Analyst position is responsible for requirements definition, functional design, custom development and technical support within the suite of automation tools and applications used at Air Products such as Worksoft Certify and UiPath.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES
Help determine priorities for testing and process automation scenarios and the creation of execution plans.
Design and develop automated tests to validate applications by creating jobs that test functions automatically.
Design and develop Robotic Process Automation (RPA) capabilities to address business and IT identified opportunities.
Analyze issues and highlight problems to help provide fixes for them.
Analyze systems to identify potential quality issues that could affect applications.
Support previously developed automated components by executing, modifying and working with functional teams as updates are required or problems are identified.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
3 years of programming experience
At least 1 year of development experience with Worksoft Certify and / or UiPath
WorkSoft Certify and / or UiPath Developer certification a plus
Experience with Worksoft Execution Suite a plus
Experience with SAP functionality and / or development a plus.
Experience with web development (.Net VB.Net, Java script and / or any other scripting languages) a plus.
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, both as an individual contributor and as a team member.
Ability to handle conflicting and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and closure.
Strong oral and written English communication skills.
Continuous improvement mindset with strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate and work effectively across global teams and with all levels of the company.
