Triageand troubleshoot incoming customer issues
Responsiblefor writing, automating, and executing test plans, log bugs in Defect trackingtool, and verify bugs.
Activelyparticipant in Requirement analysis and raise correct questions with productmanager and then design and communicate acceptance tests as part of therequirements
Managethe scrum team's test case inventory and work with other members of the QE team
Writeautomated tests at the services / integration and UI layers, using Selenium,Robot Framework and other software automation tools as well as analysis andrecovery of the failed suites
Produceand maintain test coverage reports for functional and automation coverage
Analyzedefects / test results and be able to deduct the chain of events leading to a failureto enhance software quality
Assistin creation and review of rich technical documentation and online help
Communicatecritical issues and status updates in a timely manner to scrum team and othersoftware test team members
You’ve got what it takes if you have...
BE / B.Techin Computer Science or MCA / M.Sc. Computer (or equivalent)
4-6years of software quality experience testing real-time applications
2+year experience in using test automation with tools like Selenium, RobotFramework etc
1+year experience in using scripting languages such as Python, Shell Scripting,Powershell, etc
Experiencerunning PL / SQL queries
Experienceworking with Proxy server and testing with PAC files
Experiencetroubleshooting SSL Certificate issues
Proficientwith programming in Java / other programing / scripting languages
Experiencewith Bug Tracking and Test Management tools like Jira, Test Link etc.
Familiaritywith BitBucket / GIT, TestNG, JUnit, Jenkins, Teamcity, etc.
Proficientwith testing Windows and Mac OS Client Applications
Strongorganizational, communication and problem solving skills.
