About Project : COVID-19 Respiratory Care Grant is a global effort led by PATH to improve reliable access to a comprehensive respiratory care treatment package, both as part of the immediate COVID-19 response as well as over time to strengthen respiratory care systems in the long term.

The scope of work proposed under this investment broadly includes activities in four primary areas : (1) global respiratory care response coordination, (2) rapid country assessments, (3) supplier landscaping and outreach, and (4) country-specific decision-making support.

A project team is in place to facilitate the activities of the project and PATH is looking for highly motivated, self-starter, and enthusiastic employee to work closely with the Project Team to ensure that the deliverables of the grant are achieved.

This person will lead conversations with the Government departments / officials and assist the Project lead in engaging with other partners in the space.

Responsibilities :

PATH currently seeks a Technical Lead-respiratory care to be located at New Delhi, for the COVID-19 global respiratory care response coordination project.

As part of the Project team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following :

  • Responsible for overall project implementation and achieve the project’s overall outputs and outcomes, in coordination with project team
  • Support the team in overall planning and development of work plan
  • Connect with relevant stakeholders in the government departments to establish an initial opportunity assessment for areas where PATH can contribute to government response in 2020
  • Develop a roadmap for establishing PATH as a trusted partner of the government for COVID-19 response through 2020
  • Based on results of the engagement roadmap, effectively collaborate with government, UN agencies, and WHO as a trusted partner.
  • Establish agreement with government / NHSRC for deeper collaboration in 2021
  • Develop landscape analysis of 1) technical resources available in country to support COVID-19 response efforts; 2) existing oxygen-related equipment in India;
  • 3) and procurement processes for oxygen products.

  • Document longer-term gaps in existing oxygen resources or potential challenges to meeting current and projected needs and how PATH can contribute to meeting these needs.
  • Undertake project planning by developing a workplan for areas where PATH can improve access to oxygen for COVID-19 in India.
  • Develop project reports and process documents and submit periodic reports to the global PATH team
  • Represent the project in various government forums, partner meetings, and other meetings, and share updates
