Deliver testing services within the IT Shared Service centre (VISPL) for the domains and / or countries in a Telecommunications environment ensuring platforms, services and components are tested to agreed milestones, cost and quality.

Prepare test plans, test cases and test scripts to the agreed standards, timelines and service levels.Ensure a common approach & standards are followed for testing.

Capture lessons learnt and best practise to improve the test methodology and approach.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate proven experience of delivering software testing solutions onshore and offshore in a multi-

national global environment and should have an experience in IDM operations

  • Responsiblefor the execution of detailed test cases, writing test cases and test scenariosin the WIAM Environment
  • Execute test cases and report the progress in specified tools or trackers.
  • Inform the test lead, test manager and test lead of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process.
  • Record problemsand issues in accordance with the project's problem and issue management plans.
  • Uses the agreed Test Tools and Environments to produceall test deliverables, results and defects.
  • Identify andraise defects using the agreed methodology and tools.
  • Work with the application, business & Oracle teams to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process.
  • Participate in the release control process (when the application is transferred from the build team tothe test team) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
  • Validate product fixes to ensure result meet agreed targets.
  • Ensures qualityand accuracy of the test deliverables execution and results are maintained through to software release.
  • Delivers support to the analysis, design and test phase for the new functionalities required.

    End-To-End Monitoring of the solution and measuring the targets at component level.

    Delivers support viae-mail and phone to Quality Center users.

    Provides support at the test scenario design phase.

    Monitors system behaviourduring test execution.

  • Analyses the results collected during the execution and, in collaboration with the Test Lead and other Specialists are ableto address solutions to the criticalities which emerge.
  • Executes tests and deals with collection of the results.
  • Develop, update,and maintain testing standards and procedures related to non-functional testing.
  • Devise the ways for promoting reusability of Test Assets like Scripts, Input Data Set etc. for non-functional testing across the projects.
  • Ensures quality and accuracy of the test deliverables execution and results are maintained through to software release from development, integration and support teams.
