Responsible for independent valuation at month-end of all assets and liabilities using multiple external vendor services pricing.
Calculation and analysis of reserves.
Conducting reviews of significant deals.
Identify pricing issues for complex derivative trades.
Review and implement Independent Pricing methodologies.
Providing timely information to the relevant product controller on the impacts to their books.
Analysis of model deficiencies.
Production of monthly pack which clearly states the over or undervaluation as compared to front office.
Ensure all trades are marked to fair value.
Establish best practice valuation techniques.
Ensure a robust and optimized Prudential Valuation Framework.
Ensure International Accounting Standards (IFRS) standards are applied and practiced across the business.
Our Ideal Candidate
Graduate / Post Graduate with 3 - 5 years of work experience preferably in the Finance domain
