Position Summary This position will be responsible for managing activities related to IPR awareness creation, IPR protection, prosecution for grants, Technology development assistance, FTO clearances and other related iPR activities Job Responsibilities FTO analysis for infringement free launching of a product / process Technology Landscape Analysis to find out white space / state / trend of the technology IPR discussion for classifying the potential invention disclosure Prior Art Searching / review of the prior art search to conclude patentability Copyright and Industrial Design Filing Drafting / reviewing and filing of the patent applications in India, PCT and foreign countries as appropriately Responses to the FER in relation to Patent, Industrial Design and Copyright in India and in foreign countries if filed for facilitating grant of patent applications Responses to Hearings (patent / Design) for preparing the written submission in India and foreign countries for facilitating grant of patent applications Patent / Industrial Design Renewals in India and foreign countries after necessary approval, based on inventor feedback Compliances to different IPR acts in relation to different countries IPR Awareness creation Continuous development of Online Invention Disclosure System (OIDS) and IPR e-module courses Administrative work (such as inventor recognition, PoAs, Forms, assignments, DoAs, invoice clearances etc) in relation to IPR lifecycle and other department / organization initiatives Other departmental works as assigned Education Bachelor of Engineering Work Experience Minimum 5 Years Preferred Industry-Automotive or relevant engineering industry or law firm Tata Motors Leadership Competencies Customer Centricity - Anticipating, understanding and focusing efforts on meeting the customer (stakeholders) needs or expectations Developing Self and Others - Recognizing continuous development is essential for success and taking steps to develop self and helping others to excel Driving Execution - Translating strategy into action and execution Leading by Example - Encouraging and following ethical standards Leading Change - Recognizing the need for change, initiating and adapting to change Motivating Self and Others - Inspiring teams and individuals
