Logistics Analyst 2 - 20000ZZS Applicants are required to read, write, and speak the following languages English, Chinese-Mandarin Preferred Qualifications (1) Objective The logistics analyst is primarily responsible for managing and overseeing hardware movement for the JAPAC customers.
This position will also collaborate with the corporate compliance, tax and regional sales teams to ensure suppliers, customers and freight forwarder's compliance with Oracle's policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
2) Specific Duties and Responsibilities Act as an interface between Asia external manufacturers (EM) and freight forwarder.
Responsible for troubleshooting supplier issues concerning transportation, documents, imports or exports, etc. Reconcile EM's daily shipping records against Oracle's shipping plan and report discrepancy to the the management for corrective actions.
Arrange meetings with EMs and freight forwarder to discuss issues affecting the supply chain performance ranging from shipping delays, mis-labeling to defective or unacceptable goods.
Be the Voice of Customer, act as point of contact to solve critical cases and provide feedback to management and logistics partner for continuous process improvement.
Provide guidance to freight forwarder by establishing priorities, planning and ensuring the availability of resources. Work closely with freight forwarder and recommend opportunities to streamline the processes.
Support the business with adhoc projects and reports as needed to meet business requirements. Stay informed of logistics technology advances and apply appropriate technology to improve logistics processes.
3) Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus in project management, logistics or transportation is preferred.
Minimum of five years of logistics experience. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Fluent in English with strong communication skills in both verbal and writing. Proven ability to effectively manage, influence, and communicate with stakeholders to meet with quality and business goal.
