Position summary

We are looking for payroll specialist with 7- 8 years of relevant experience on a full-time role managing India region payroll for 2500+ employees.

Candidate should have knowledge in payroll and Labour laws compliances

Duties & accountabilities

  • Handling Payroll processing for India region for more than 2500+ employees.
  • Work closely with Payroll vendor (Ascent) and HR team to ensure smooth payroll processing.
  • Managing Payroll & labor laws compliances like PF, Income Tax, LWF, Shop & Establishment, CLRA, Professional Tax, Gratuity etc.
  • for all 3 offices in India (Noida, Gurgaon and Bangalore)

  • Check and audit payrolls, ensuring legislative internal reporting requirements.
  • Managing Internal and External Audits in coordination with Corporate Finance & HR team
  • Payment and reconciliation of India payroll to ensure 100% accuracy.
  • Able to handle PF and Tax related queries within TAT.
  • Managing Year end Investment proof submission activity in coordination with payroll vendor.
  • Maintain & audit Workday for end to end employee life cycle.
  • Statutory, Audit, Compliance related support.
  • Run routine reports from Workday, create & maintain dashboards related to Employee Life cycle for stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes for a fast pace & dynamic organizational set up.
  • Adopt an innovative and out of the box approach to developing solutions and frameworks to help implement HR strategy that run across functions in India like talent
  • Business competencies

    Education and experience

    Post-Graduation in Commerce.

    7-8 years of respective experience in India Payroll

    Commercial awareness

    Person must be having a Corporate expertise in Payroll and should be well served with the process required to handle Vendor and how to get the payroll closed as per the timelines.
