As the Product Manager of Honeywell Forge Platform Extensible Object Model (EOM) service, you will own the core platform service for managing the metadata for the entire platform.
Honeywell Forge provides a model-driven, configurable environment to enable customers to quickly and continuously adapt Forge based offerings to their custom environments.
EOM provides a central metadata store with stable API and consumer-grade UI tooling for creating and managing objects that drive the end-to-end Forge platform capabilities.
Common examples of the objects managed by EOM service include models for assets such as Building HVAC systems or heavy-duty assets in a Plant, configurations for how telemetry data is ingested / processed / aggregated and models driving the visualization of the data as well as other end user applications.
As the Product Manager of the EOM service, you will own the definition, release roadmap, documentation, stakeholder management for the EOM API and tooling.
You will be responsible for driving the right functionalities as well as the non-functional qualities such as scalability, security, cost-effectiveness and multi-tenancy.
Your activities will be a mix of outbound and inbound, business and technical, strategic and tactical pursuits.
You will influence the delivery roadmaps via fact-based prioritizations and provide guidance to the engineering teams via clear documentation of market requirements as user journeys, wireframes and properly scoped epics (Honeywell follows agile development methodology).
You will be the single point of contact representing the Forge Extensible Object Model service in cross-team initiatives for pricing, commercialization, partner ecosystem development and early adopter programs.
Your close understanding of the technologies in Modeling of Assets, Graph databases, API management will help you easily connect with the engineering teams, drive build / buy decisions, confidently address technical questions in customer RFPs, prepare rich sales enablement material, shape Proof of Concept projects with early adopters, etc.
You will interact regularly with senior leadership to keep them apprised of your product plans, risks, etc.
