KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Sustainability
Drive the development and implementation of the Bank’s and GSSC’s overall sustainability strategy and support the delivery of the Bank’s Here for good brand promise.
Guide strategy development to ensure the Bank remains industry leading in sustainability.
Engage with internal stakeholders to promote alignment with the Group’s overall sustainability strategy.
Manage and execute GSSC’s community programme working along with the committees and guide the development of the community programmes
Oversee the delivery of the GSSC’s core community programmes Seeing is Believing, Environment, Positive Living, Diversity and Inclusion, Education (School Projects)
Guide the strategy and implementation of the Bank’s employee volunteering programme and explore new ways to engage employees.
Ensure all programmes have robust and verifiable metrics, outputs and evaluation mechanisms.
Monitor, catalogue and mitigate risks associated with community programmes
Oversee community programmes external engagement and thought leadership.
Ensure internal stakeholders and employees are engaged in community programmes
Develop specific strategic projects related to community programmes, as necessary.
Work with the business to find ways to maximise employee volunteering on community programmes
Manage the Finance aspect of each event by working closely with the LM and support the effective administration and operational oversight of the CSR budget Employee Volunteering
Support implementation and management of the Bank’s global Employee Volunteering (EV) programme.
Track EV by providing timely and relevant updates to various stakeholders including Business unit CSR Spocs.
Act as contact point for EV initiatives.
Support functions in driving engagement in EV and ensure that the team provides timely and appropriate communication.
Ensure to gather various reporting communication tools with volunteer feedback, beneficiary feedback, photos and stories, etc.
Work with the leads of all committees such as SiB, D&I, Environment, Positive living, Project smiles, Sevalaya and Heart & Soul. Staff Engagement
Think of creative ways of engaging GBS Staff through festivals, sports, cultural activities and contests.
Plan for the year and execute the plan involving all units
Work with Spocs from every unit in delivering the years plan Communications & Reporting
Lead to provide inputs to all the internal CSR communications sent as GSSC communication
Prepare internal reporting on sustainability to the MT.
Promote internal understanding of sustainability through internal communication campaigns. Central events
To coordinate with vendor and work on all the central events based on the direction from the Head of the department.
Manage the important group visits and design / implement event around the visits based on requirement
To help with the logistics and other arrangements for the central events like SLT, conversation with Kwan etc.
