The Principal Configuration Manager (CM) Engineer will focus on software integration, test, and release of multiple products.

The engineer will support the product cross functional team and will maintain and improve the CM infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and automate software control and build / test methodologies.
  • Manage daily CM build / test and release engineering tasks for development releases and customer hotfixes.
  • Use software tools for source code control, build acceleration, and quality metrics reporting.
  • Will work with Operations, R&D, PV, and Program Management.
  • Qualifications

  • BSEE required, MSEE / CS preferred.
  • At least 7 years experience in software industry.
  • Experience in software integration, including the development and implementation of CM plans, standards, automation, and quality metrics
  • Solid understanding of software product life cycle and product development processes
  • Experience with source code control systems, such as Perforce, Clearcase, etc
  • Experience with Unix / Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, preferably Perl, Python, Shell
  • Exposure to software analysis tools like Parasoft, Valgrind, GCOV, Google Address Sanatizer
  • Experience in web development technologies, including JavaScript and frameworks
  • Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
