Job Purpose

  • Responsible for conceptualizing, designing and implementing the owned digital footprint
  • Managing Digital Experiences for Asian Paints and all other brands and services within the portfolio
  • Working on consumer insights and market needs addressed through IT solutions

    Key Performance Indicators

    Websites, Social Media & Performance marketing

  • Leading the Social Media Marketing agenda for the company
  • Reach out various segments to generate positive buzz and design digital campaigns in conjunction with Marketing teams
  • Maintain relationships with bloggers, influencers.
  • Create and manage a strategy for high user engagement on social media platforms
  • Develop a full funnel strategy as per unit requirements
  • Ensure the best practices are implemented for performance marketing
  • Liaison with media agency, creative agency, digital agency and marketing teams
  • Website management & performance evaluating existing website landscape and plans for Updation and transitions
  • Managing SEO, SEMs and other traffic sources to websites
  • Digital media planning

  • Maximizing media reach for content created
  • Implement best practices, new strategies, innovative features on an ongoing basis on digital
  • Utilize learnings from AP India and from across other industries
  • Agency Management

  • Manage the media agency and the digital creative agency ecosystem
  • Managing all aspects of digital operations : Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, Mobile marketing, new asset / tool creation etc
  • Manage RFP’s, contracts, reports, data analysis with all external stakeholders / agencies
  • Working with IT & website vendor for development, Updation and transitions
  • Other IT Projects

  • Finding core consumer insights and working with units for requirement gathering and implementation
  • Working with the Central IT team on key Marketing Projects with IT team App development, visualizer development, Loyalty design
  • ØCreate processes and SLAs for social media responses from the agency

    ØQuality data analysis to identify insights and trends in order to take business decisions

    ØCampaign level performance metric delivery

    ØDrive social media innovations for various brands and AP corporate

    ØTracking & driving growth in measures of audience reach and brand engagement, web mentions, sentiment & gender ratios across web, social and mobile channels

    ØIncrease conversion rate, reduce cost per appointment

    ØEffective activation of brand engagement through fans, & influencers

    ØEnhance processes, implement best and innovative practices

    ØMonitoring website performance metrics traffic, page views, time spent, loading speed, bounce rates, lead source etc

    ØIT project timeline adherence and performance metric

    Scope of Work

    a) Financial Scope (Range of financial spend) :

  • Work in coordination with Unit and Central teams for digital investments
  • b) People Management Scope (Range of no. of Direct / Indirect Reports) :

  • Need to work in close conjunction with all Unit & Central Marketing teams for campaign design and delivery & website performance
  • c) Geography Coverage (Country-wide / State-wide / Area-wide)

  • All units of AP Global based out of Mumbai
  • d) Corporate Coverage (Company-wide / Business Unit or Function-wide / Sub-function-wide / Other) :

  • Entire AP Global footprint with larger focus on key markets of Egypt, UAE, Nepal, Bangladesh & Srilanka
  • Internal
