    BA Continuum India Pvt. Ltd. supports business process, information technology and knowledge process across Consumer Banking, including Card and Home Loans, Legacy Asset Servicing, Global Banking and Markets, and Global Wealth and Investment Management lines of business at Bank of America.

    Process Overview*

    Spreadsheets used in the production of GBAM Ops expose the bank to potential manual errors, which could result in financial losses, incorrect regulatory reporting and therefore censure and significant fines from the Bank’s regulators.

  • The GBAM Ops Spreadsheet and Model Control Team will be focused on ensuring that the Spreadsheets and Models are compliant with the Enterprise Spreadsheet Control Policy, Model Risk Policy and PCS Spreadsheet Control Standards;
  • a framework to govern, control and mitigate risks associated with spreadsheets throughout their lifecycle. The team will undertake Quality Assurance tests and gap remediation work on the GBAM Ops spreadsheet population, followed by maintenance of the required controls through BAU monitoring and activities, utilizing third party software ClusterSeven.

    They will work closely with the GBAM Ops spreadsheet owners and managers to ensure identified spreadsheets are classified correctly, bought in line with the required controls and retired from the process when no longer in use, reporting regularly to senior management throughout.

  • Requirements*

  • Education* - B.Com / BSC / B.Tech / MBA (Finance)
  • Certifications If Any Risk Riders certification added advantage
  • Experience Range 5+ years of experience in Operational Risk
  • Mandatory skills* -

  • Understanding of Investment Banking, Securities, MIS reporting
  • Good understanding of Enterprise Spreadsheet Control Policy and GMOMO Spreadsheet Standards
  • Good Skill in MS office (Excel and Access)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with excellent attention to detail,
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize
  • Ability to cope with delivery within very tight deadlines under high pressure.
  • Analytical and logical mindset
  • Disciplined approach in managing day-to-day activities
