Job Summary Responsibilities and Duties Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies - Sprint Planning, The Sprint, Daily Scrum, Sprint Demo / Review and Sprint Retrospective.
Mediate the general conflict of goals between the development team and product owner. Champion the use of Agile engineering practices (TDD, CI / CD, Refactoring, FDD, etc.
within the development team. Actively track the progress of the Sprint on a daily basis and take proactive measures where required to help the team achieve the sprint goals.
Ensure the team maintains focus, productivity, and efficiency by protecting them from external distractions and actively removing impediments.
Work with the Product Owner to prepare, groom, and order the product backlog items. Liaise with other Scrum teams and external teams to address and resolve cross team issues, conflicts and dependencies.
Coach the team to become self-organized by helping them understand and internalize Agile principles. Use retrospectives efficiently to continuously improve the processes and outcomes.
Create and manage appropriate reports, charts, and metrics to help all stakeholders gain visibility of the status of projects.
Qualifications and Skills Scrum Master certification (at least CSM or PSM I; A-CSM or PSM-III preferred) Overall 10+ years of software project management experience (preferably in an agile environment) of which 5 years of experience having worked as a Scrum master.
Knowledge and experience in Agile engineering techniques and best practices : ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Pair Programming, Automated Testing, etc.
Excellent organizational and facilitation skills. Strong interpersonal skills - with the ability to coach and mentor teams, resolve conflicts, and foster team spirit.
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
