Responsibilities

  • Develop a program structure and drive a program operating rhythm to bring together complex, cross-organizational teams
  • Drive creation of program roadmaps and execution plans across all phases of planning, development, and production readiness and launch
  • Lead and drive program execution for multiple teams in partnership with Engineering, Product Management, Design, teams, Operations and other cross functional group to deliver successful business outcomes by fostering collaboration, managing dependencies and with shared accountability
  • Run programs using best Agile practices for initiating, planning, and executing intermediate-to-large scale cross - functional critical programs.
  • See the big picture and ensure processes scale appropriately with the organization and be a change agent to drive these organizational changes.
  • Communicate progress across organizational boundaries and levels from individual contributor to senior executive.
  • Anticipate risks and proactively manage them before they become blockers.
  • Quickly and effectively identify and clarify the critical few issues that need action and drive appropriate decisions and actions.
  • Identify short and long term trade-offs and balance the needs of all stakeholders.
  • Anticipate, recognize, and work through resistance or setbacks independently, work well with others when conflicts arise : see opportunities, ensure alignment with objectives, find common ground and promote understanding of alternative viewpoints before driving for closure and cooperation.
  • Identify potential process improvements and effective implementation of these changes

    Qualifications

  • Overall industry experience of 16+ years with technical background and 8+ years of strong program management experience in product development with direct experience working with multiple scrum teams using Agile
  • Excellent balance of people, organizational, and technical skills, and can execute and deliver successfully in situations where authority is not a given.
  • Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach;
  • resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships across organizations in delivering the best outcome of complex programs.
  • Ability to communicate objectives, plans, status and results clearly across all levels, focusing on critical few key points.
  • Solutions oriented, with a track record of identifying and implementing creative solutions with a ability to adapt and handle rapidly changing environment
  • Proven ability in unearthing and managing risks in the program
  • Excellent communication skills, including business writing and presentations
  • PMI / PMP Certification, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Scaled Agile Framework Program Consultant (SAFe SPC), Stanford Advance Project Management or equivalent - any of these highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree is required with preference for degrees in Computer Science Engineering.
