As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will :

1. Build and own long-term vision and charter for the eBooks business development function in India.

2. Own and accentuate partner pipeline with relevant to business opportunities.

3. Drive customer acquisition / unit goals for the business by devising win-win partnership models in close collaboration with business, finance, marketing and leadership teams across the globe.

4. Conduct market analysis and provide recommendations for expansion within market segments. Execute approved expansion recommendations.

5. Have a technical and analytical bent of mind to be able to customize existing mechanisms to operationalize partnerships and measure impact in the short and long term.

6. Lead internal and external business reviews covering strategic initiatives and performance.

7. Build strong internal relationships across Amazon. Influence internal teams to deliver the right results for the business.

8. Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects across functional teams, including technical, engineering, marketing, design and merchandizing teams across geographies.

9. Be comfortable in getting hands dirty in day-to-day tasks to get things done.

10. Have the obsession to drive a better customer experience through everything that we do here at Amazon.

Basic Qualifications :

6+ years of relevant work experience in account management in a digital products environment in India

Bachelor's degree is required

Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills required.

Strong analytical skill required., Basic Qualifications :

Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.

Masters Degree (MBA / MS) preferred
