The team you'll be part of

Nokia CNS Fixed Network Insights team is building domain driven and data powered insights and analytics products to optimize customer experience for fixed broadband.

We are looking for a Domain Architect to join our R&D team and spearhead design and development of analytics and machine learning powered fixed domain insights.

Your skills and experience

Domain Architect acts as a cross-domain ML expert, guiding internal teams and being technical interface for external stakeholders.

Domain Architect conducts target-oriented research to directly apply findings to the specification, design, further development, and incremental improvement of products, services, systems, tools, processes, etc.

Job Responsibilities & Competencies

Driving analytics and machine learning feature design, requirement definition and interworking within R&D.

Engineering interface for collaboration with the Bell Labs and other CNS teams on ML and Network Automation topics

Researches, designs, plans, develops and / or evaluates new innovation by translating ML prototypes into final product design

Providing technical support to PLM team on pre- and post-sales on customer requests, demos, roadmap features, technical assessments and feasibility analysis.

Retains technical and design knowledge for assigned products and technologies.

Applies and maintains quality standards. Participates in process and tools evolutions and improvements (incl. documentation, dimensioning tools, demo setup etc.).

Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes and services.

Contributes to strategic decisions within professional area (i.e. ML domain).

Solves complex problems based on sophisticated analytical thought and complex judgment.

Acts as a professional leader within ML domain who serves as best practice resource within R&D team and is recognized as an expert within the same professional area in the business.

Qualifications

Expertise in data science and machine learning technologies and techniques

Technical expertise in the fixed broadband domain (home and access networks)

Familiarity with public cloud services and architectures

Experience in Product, R&D and / or Services organization building products in System / Solution Architect or Product owner role

Experience with product design, from concept to mass deployable products

Fluent in influencing and networking

Excellent communication skill, fluent in verbal and written communication
