Job Responsibilities :
Develop real time Simulation Models using Mat lab / Simulink in support of real time testing of integrated controllers using Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL)
Integration of plant models from multiple vehicle domains to enable software verification on HIL benches
Support validation engineers Hardware-In-the-Loop bench and test setups.
Understanding of Vehicle Electrical Architecture and Subsystem / Features in Mechatronics domain.
Debugging & improving plant models based on feedback from Test engineers.
Support the HIL Test Engineers to identify defects related to models or software.
Responsible to find root cause for Hardware Issues and fix them.
Interaction with counter parts for requirement elicitation and status update
Development of Transmisson Sim ECUs and comissioning on Powertrain HiLs
Responsible for Lab, Inventory Management, Hardware Documentation, Hardware Design Proposal
Ability to analyze the Field issues in HiL and come up with the solutions.
Improving accuracy of existing models.Taking initiatives on developing new concepts for model based design
Taking initiatives on developing new concepts for model based design
Tracking the Failures, Failure Reasons and Closures on Time
Identification of root cause for the defects found during validation and reporting the defects and communicating with different stakeholders
Lead a team for Continuous Development, Technological Updates with focus on Technical improvements, competencies & Quality.
Knowledge sharing session to other teams
Mentor the team members
Effective stakeholder management (partner, internal MBRDI) in development, processes, improvises the processes
End to end project management for the assigned project which includes delivery, risk management and trouble shooting
Responsible for all the activities of the Hardware-in-the-Loop team with an aim to improve the overall Competency within the team
Essential Skills :
Experience in plant and vehicle model using Matlab / Stateflow / Simulink
Experience in Setting up of Development and Integration of Hardware in Loop (HiL) test benches
Familiar with HIL system functionality, hardware / software tool set, Hardware IO requirements, Sensor and actuator signal interfaces in Powertrain Controls).
Good Domain know how for Hybrid & e-Powertrain -Both in terms of Mechanical Operations and Software
Knowledge about automotive protocols CAN and LIN, FlexRay, CAN-FD
Hands on experience on tool CANape, CANoe
Experience in Development and Integration of Hardware in Loop (HiL) test benches.
Hands on Experience in HiL Plant model development, Dspace Control and Configuration desk.
Ability to lead a small team
Basic ECU Software achitecture Knowledge
Excellent communication skills and ability to work & contribute as a good team player
Good knowledge on Control Systems
Desired Key Skills :
Good Knowledge in configuration tools SVN, Jira.
Basic Understanding of software architecture
Basic Understanding of software testing principles
Knowledge on sensors and actuators.
Knowledge on German language preferred
Exposure of multi-cultural environment is an added advantage
