What you will do
This is a senior IT leadership position, responsible for managing all aspects of IT technical service delivery to the businesses in JCI.
The scope includes managing team, working with local IT, regional and global vendors as well as various regional and global IT teams, to support.
Under general direction the Lead IT Technical Operations serves as a liaison between the Business Information Technology (IT) departments and all other practices in the organization.
The Lead IT should possess knowledge about business practices and IT-related concepts. A Lead IT should be knowledgeable about the latest technologies present in the market and be conversant in how they fit into the business environment.
Lead IT Technical Operations understand about the company and its overall operations. Is intimately aware of all IT Initiatives and insures internal departments are expecting the demand for resources both hardware and people that are required to support the business initiatives.
Provides input on priorities between Business IT and Global Infrastructure to align expectations and ensure the maximum output from workforce.
Lead IT Technical Operations participate in communication between the internal IT team and outside vendors for services required.
Lead IT Technical Operations understand business unit IT strategic plans and provide guidance around defined technology platforms and programs in the Infrastructure environment.
Focus is on developing a long-term vision of platform technologies and solutions through collaboration with customers and internal teams.
The Lead IT Technical Operations identifies services being offered and those that customers propose; collaborate on the governance of investments across the portfolio of services offered;
and create a defined way to evaluate potentially valuable new capabilities.
How you will do it
Support & measure the services of local IT operations within the regional business center
Provides input on priorities between Business IT and Global Infrastructure to align expectations and ensure the maximum output from workforce
Co-ordinates with local desk side GI support teams to ensure service delivery to meet the business needs
Internalize and advance the company culture using our JCI guiding principles
Ensure delivery of IT services in an effective and efficient manner whilst aligning with global strategies and initiatives
Ensure that the delivery of IT services and products are in compliance with local laws and regulations and aligned with company standards and policies
Develop Local IT team with the right capabilities to support growth projects
Communicate any business impacting issue to primary contacts
Define and track Local IT KPI’s
Build strong relationships with capabilities and business leaders to understand, anticipate and satisfy any new demand and requirements over all global
Drive resolution for issue escalations in co-ordination with global infrastructure & other IT teams
Responsible for full life-cycle of projects from initiation to completion
Create and track Local IT budget for local infrastructure projects
Manage local and global vendors to deliver the highest possible service
Fulltime Engineering graduate
Professional with 5 years working experience in leadership positions in Information Technology
Broad IT technical background Infrastructure, telecommunications, commercial and manufacturing applications
Fluency in written and spoken English
Very good communication, negotiation, networking and interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively and independently with other teams at different levels locally, regionally and globally.
Strong Project management skills. Able to manage and lead multiple Projects teams with individuals of diverse background (gender, race, nationality and work experience)
Experience in these technologies Microsoft platform, MPLS network, SAP, VoIP, IPT, vmWare will be preferred
Knowledge of industry IT standards and practices will be preferred
Knowledge of manufacturing process applications will be preferred
